A multi‑discipline event for children aged 5–17 who want to explore their talents, grow their confidence, and experience leadership in action.
What is SHINE?
SHINE Youth Leadership Summit is a vibrant day of discovery designed for 5–17‑year‑olds who love to perform, create, experiment, or simply try something new. Inspired by last year’s three‑day summit, this edition condenses the best elements into one high‑energy day filled with activities across arts, languages, sciences, entrepreneurship, and more.
The event gives every child a chance to be seen and celebrated, whether they are confident performers or usually more reserved. Through a mix of individual and group activities, they practise communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving while having fun with peers.
Practical information

•Location: Young Leaders Academy, Bazellaan 8, 1140 Evere
•Price: 30€/child
What to bring: a packed lunch, snacks, a refillable water bottle, and any special materials needed for their chosen activities (for example, a musical instrument or art supplies). Supervision is provided throughout the entire day.
Throughout the day, children rotate between different themed activities where they can sing, create, build, debate, and solve challenges together. They will explore disciplines such as music and performance, visual and culinary arts, spoken and written languages, finances and entrepreneurship, sciences and technology, and world affairs.
Each group also takes part in a team collaboration and leadership activity, where they learn to share ideas, take initiative, and support one another to reach a common goal. At the end of the day, children are celebrated for their efforts, creativity, and growth.
